La Jara is a Marion-family estate in Mareno di Piave, where the family’s vineyards have been held since 1891. Massimo and Paolo Marion took the reins in 1999, renewing the cellar and adopting organic methods throughout the vineyards. The name means ‘gravel’ in the local dialect, referring to the rounded white limestone stones left by the Piave.
Sparkling wine is central here, and the winery uses the Martinotti-Charmat method with temperature-controlled steel pressure tanks. The vineyards and wines are certified organic, and production is vegan-certified under ICEA oversight.

Golden fruit, pear and yellow apple open with a delicate floral lift. Fine, persistent bubbles give the palate a soft, velvety shape, while fresh acidity keeps the lightly rounded finish precise. A subtle note of toasted brioche adds depth without heaviness. Serve well chilled as an aperitif or alongside risotto, seafood, sushi or gently spiced Asian dishes.
