Bright yuzu and citrus peel lead the nose, followed by juniper, coriander and a subtle marine note. The palate is vivid and refreshing, with tangerine and kumquat fruit framed by ginger, mint and the peppery lift of sansho. Sakaki evergreen contributes a dry, woodsy undertone, while the sweet-potato shochu base gives the texture gentle breadth. The finish is clean, spicy and aromatic, with citrus and forest notes lingering. Try it with soda or tonic, or in a restrained martini.
