AboutHiram Walker & Sons
Hiram Walker & Sons began with the distillery Hiram Walker established on the Canadian side of the Detroit River in the 1850s. The operation became the centre of Walkerville, an industrial community that grew around Walker’s mills, transport links and civic projects. Today, the Windsor distillery produces, blends and bottles spirits for several brands.
Absolut Mango Mule 355 mL
Bright tropical mango leads, sharpened by citrus freshness and a lively thread of spicy ginger. The palate is juicy yet crisp, with enough warmth and bite to keep the fruit from feeling heavy. Serve thoroughly chilled straight from the can, or pour over ice with a lime wedge for a simple, polished highball.
Pike Creek 21 Year Old European Oak Finish Canadian Whisky
Berries and green fruit open with pineapple, kiwi and cool spearmint. The palate is generous but precise, bringing caramel, nutmeg and candied fruit into balance with vanilla, pepper and firm seasoned wood. Cedar and char add a savoury edge. The finish is long and clean, leaving applewood, spice, caramel and a quiet touch of tobacco.
J.P. Wiser’s 35 Year Old
Full and polished, with vanilla, maple and warm grain giving way to a distinctly rye-led palate. Fresh pumpernickel, cardamom and dill bring savoury lift, while cherries add a dark-fruited counterpoint. The oak is assertive but integrated, lending char and structure rather than simple dryness. The finish is broad and persistent, carrying dark bread, cherry syrup, herbs, vanilla and a final smoky edge.
J.P. Wiser’s Alumni Series Wendel Clark 11 Year Old Rye Canadian Whisky
Orange blossom and dried fruit lead with rye spice, vanilla and seasoned oak. The palate is bold and focused, carrying eleven years of bourbon-barrel influence through pepper, caramel and a firm grain-driven texture. Sweetness remains controlled, giving the spice room to build. The finish is warm and peppery, leaving citrus peel, dried fruit, oak and persistent rye.
