The palate is generous but precise, bringing caramel, nutmeg and candied fruit into balance with vanilla, pepper and firm seasoned wood. Cedar and char add a savoury edge. The finish is long and clean, leaving applewood, spice, caramel and a quiet touch of tobacco.
