AboutAnne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot
Anne Gros and Jean-Paul Tollot brought two Burgundy winegrowing backgrounds together in 2007, when they began a joint project in Cazelles in the Minervois. Gros had already taken full responsibility for her family’s Vosne-Romanée domaine, while Tollot brought experience from his family’s estate in Chorey-lès-Beaune. Their search led them to old vines in the Mediterranean landscape near Minerve.
The estate’s Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grow on parcels of sandstone, marl and clay-limestone. Its wines come from Côtes du Brian, Minervois and Minervois Cazelles.
Gros & Tollot 2020 La CinsO
Ruby red with a youthful purple edge, opening on rose petal, raspberry, plum and warm spice. The palate has good substance and ripe fruit, shaped by a rounded texture and polished tannins. Freshness keeps the profile lively and precise, leading to a long, refined finish with generous red-fruit flavour and easy drinkability.
Gros & Tollot 2023 La 50/50
Preserved cherry leads, joined by dark berry fruit, white pepper and a restrained floral lift. The palate is fresh and generous, with polished texture and savoury mineral depth. Fine tannins keep the fruit composed, while gentle spice and a clean, stony note carry the balanced, quietly persistent finish.
