AboutGorgo
Alberta and Roberto Bricolo founded Gorgo in 1975, and their daughter Roberta now leads the family estate. The estate is in Custoza, in the Veneto countryside between Verona and Lake Garda. Roberta began converting every vineyard to organic farming in 2014, and Gorgo now works 53 hectares of certified-organic vines.
Gorgo 2022 San Michelin Custoza
Italian White
Apple, citrus, melon and white flowers appear in a dry, light-bodied profile with present acidity and a delicate mouthfeel. The blend contains forty percent Garganega, thirty-five percent Cortese and twenty-five percent Trebbiano. Grown organically, the wine comes from Veneto's Bianco di Custoza designation. The style is fresh, fruity, savoury and slightly aromatic, with mature fruit, citrus and a soft, full palate.
