AboutGlenmorangie Distillery
William and Anne Matheson founded Glenmorangie in the Scottish Highlands in 1843, establishing the distillery near Tain. Its whisky is made with Scottish barley and water from the Tarlogie Springs. Tall copper stills help produce a light, delicate spirit, and the distillery experiments with different casks for further ageing.
Glenmorangie The Original 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Creamy vanilla and fresh citrus lead the nose, followed by ripe peach and a soft floral note. The palate is silky and generous, with honey, orange and vanilla unfolding over a delicate thread of coconut and maple. Twelve years in ex-bourbon American white oak casks gives the whisky extra roundness while preserving its bright Highland character. The finish is smooth and lingering, returning to peach, citrus and gentle sweetness. Serve neat, over ice or in a tall highball.
Glenmorangie Astar Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Sun-ripened fruit, honeycomb and toasted oak open a bright, lifted aroma, joined by pear, vanilla and soft florals. The palate is rich and expressive, bringing orange zest, peach and creamy malt into almond toffee and warming ginger. Sweetness remains lively rather than heavy. The finish is long and luminous, leaving honeyed oak, citrus, spice and a warm glow.
Glenmorangie Sonnalta PX 12 Year Old
Richly sherried without losing its Highland lift, opening with vanilla, bitter chocolate and raisins over pronounced oak. The palate is firm and sweet-bitter, layering dried fruit, cocoa, nuts and warm wood around a clear malt core. A faint savoury edge keeps the richness in check. The finish is persistent and slightly drying, carrying oak, sticky raisin, toasted nuts and dark chocolate.
Glenmorangie 1977 21 Year Old Limited Bottling
Warm and fruit-led, opening with green apple, vanilla, cinnamon and a gentle malt sweetness. Honey and citrus peel brighten the palate before seasoned oak and fine spice take hold, adding depth without overwhelming the fruit. The texture is mellow and composed, with a faint herbal coolness emerging late. The finish is smooth and quietly persistent, carrying soft wood, white pepper and lingering orchard-fruit freshness.
