Dried cherry, fig and dark plum are layered with tobacco, leather and cedar. The palate is full-bodied and deeply concentrated, while fresh acidity and firm, resolved tannins keep the richness composed. Balsamic spice, liquorice and a mineral note add savoury complexity through the long finish. Decant carefully for sediment and serve with braised beef, game, mushrooms or aged cheese.
