Raspberry, cherry and plum lead a lifted, complex nose, joined by wilted rose, tea and a touch of undergrowth. The palate is juicy and finely structured, with tightly woven tannins giving the red fruit definition and length. Savoury earth and dried herbs build through the middle, while the finish remains firm, fresh and persistent. Decant before serving with braised beef, roast lamb, porcini or aged hard cheese.
