Dried plum and rose petal sit beneath layers of sarsaparilla, spearmint, black liquorice, bittersweet chocolate and star anise. The palate is sweet, herbal and gently bitter, with bergamot, quinine and a faint iodine note adding complexity. Richness and bitterness remain in balance, while a cool mint character lifts the long finish. Serve lightly chilled or over one large ice cube after dinner, especially with dark chocolate.
