Gabriëlskloof

Bernhard Heyns founded Gabriëlskloof in 2001 on a former sheep-and-canola farm in Bot River. The estate remains in the Heyns family, with the next generation working alongside long-serving members of the team. The vineyards are worked by hand, with naturally low yields.

Peter-Allan Finlayson became cellar master in 2014, expanding the work with individual vineyards, old vines and experimental wines. The Landscape Series draws on the home farm and other Overberg sites, using natural fermentation and limited oak.
