AboutFuligni
Fuligni’s Montalcino history began in the early 1900s, when Giovanni Maria Fuligni settled there after earlier family winegrowing in Tuscany. Maria Flora Fuligni took charge in 1971, and Daniela Perino is now central to the estate’s day-to-day work. The roughly hundred-hectare property includes about fourteen hectares of vines, concentrated largely on the cooler northeastern side of the Montalcino hill.
Low-yielding Sangiovese is harvested by hand over several passes, and parcels are fermented separately before blending. Brunello ages mainly in Slavonian oak casks, with a smaller portion in Allier oak barrels. Riserva is made only in exceptional vintages and generally comes from older vines.

Italian Red
Light garnet in the glass, opening with rose petals, bright red cherry and wild strawberry. Cedar and gentle yellow spice add savoury depth, while a subtle peach note brings lift. The palate is poised and finely structured, with fresh acidity shaping the fruit and polished tannins providing quiet grip. Floral detail returns on a long, measured finish, joined by red berries, spice and a restrained earthy note.
