AboutFlor de Luna Distillery

Flor de Luna Distillery began in Mexico City in 2015, when Hillhamn Salome started developing drinks in her parents’ kitchen at eighteen. Those experiments became Xila, a Mexican aperitif made with mezcal and seven botanicals.

Salome has described the project as her answer to doors that closed when she entered the drinks trade as a young woman. Today she leads a mostly female team spanning production, sales and marketing.

Xila Licor de Agave 7 Notas Mexican Aperitif

Mexican Liqueur
$89.99
Espadín mezcal provides a gently smoky foundation for a layered mix of caramelized pineapple, ancho chilli, hibiscus and lavender. Cinnamon, clove and black pepper bring measured warmth and savoury lift, while the fruit keeps the palate rounded and bright. The result is aromatic, lightly sweet and softly spicy, with a lingering agave-led finish. Serve over ice with citrus, lengthen with soda, or use to add depth to a spritz.
