Felton Road
Felton Road
Felton Road is a Bannockburn estate in Central Otago whose first commercial vintage was produced in 1997. Nigel Greening acquired the winery in 2000 and developed a vineyard-focused programme across four estate sites in the Bannockburn subregion. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling form the principal range, with individual vineyard and block bottlings kept separate where appropriate.
Gravity movement and estate-only fruit are established practices, with fermentation and ageing tailored by wine. Felton Road’s current work centres on four Bannockburn vineyards in Central Otago, where Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling are handled as estate-grown wines through a gravity-fed cellar that keeps vineyard and block identities separate within the range.
