Fattoria La Fiorita

Mid ruby in colour, with floral lift, dark fruit and a touch of black pepper. Generous cherry jam and red currant fill the palate, held in shape by youthful, firm tannins. The fruit remains clear and balanced rather than heavy, with savoury detail emerging as the wine opens. The finish is long, structured and composed. Decant before serving with roast lamb, braised beef, porcini mushrooms or aged pecorino.
