AboutElena Fucci
Elena Fucci founded her estate in 2000, at the moment her family was preparing to sell the vineyards surrounding their home in Barile. Her grandfather Generoso had bought the highest parcels of Contrada Solagna del Titolo in the 1960s, and the family had tended them for decades while selling most of the fruit. She chose to keep the land, studied viticulture and oenology, and took full responsibility for the cellar in 2004.
The estate’s old Aglianico vines grow at about 600 metres on volcanic soils at the foot of Monte Vulture. For years, Fucci focused on a single wine, Titolo, made to express Aglianico and the Vulture vineyards.

The wine is dense, with lively acidity and a long finish. Aglianico grows at about 650 metres on volcanic soil containing lava and pozzolana. Malolactic fermentation takes place in oak.
