AboutEl Castillo de Tequila
Gildardo Partida and Pilar Rivas began developing El Castillo de Tequila in El Arenal in 2016. Partida’s family had worked with agave and tequila in Jalisco for generations. Adictivo is among the tequila labels produced at El Castillo de Tequila.
Adictivo Añejo Tequila
Honey, caramel and vanilla lead a generous nose, joined by sweet spice and toasted oak. The palate is silky and full, with toffee, butterscotch and dried fruit layered over roasted agave. Two years in French oak bring warmth and a polished cask sweetness, while gentle spice keeps the texture from feeling heavy. The finish is long and smooth, carrying vanilla, caramel and seasoned wood. Serve neat after dinner, or over one large cube when a softer, richer presentation is preferred.
Adictivo Tequila Plata
Fresh agave opens with green apple and bright citrus, followed by light floral detail and a measured touch of white pepper. The palate is clean and softly rounded, balancing crisp fruit with earthy agave and a gentle mineral edge. Subtle sweetness broadens the middle without obscuring freshness. The finish stays smooth and lively, leaving citrus peel, pepper and a clear vegetal note.
