Donatella Cinelli Colombini

Donatella Cinelli Colombini founded the estate bearing her full name in 1998, bringing together Casato Prime Donne in Montalcino and Fattoria del Colle in Trequanda. That year, she established an all-female cellar team at Casato Prime Donne after learning that trained women were being overlooked by major wineries.

In 1993, she founded Movimento Turismo del Vino and created Cantine Aperte, two initiatives devoted to wine tourism. At her estates, she has also worked to recover the local Foglia Tonda grape.
