Domaine Richard Rottiers

Richard Rottiers established his domaine in Romanèche-Thorins in 2007, beginning with three hectares of mature Moulin-à-Vent vines. A native of Chablis, he arrived in Beaujolais after cellar work abroad and three years at Château Thivin, experience that deepened his interest in Gamay. The estate has since expanded into several Beaujolais appellations, with old-vine holdings and organic farming.

Grapes are harvested by hand, and each parcel is fermented separately with native yeasts. The use of whole bunches and the approach to ageing are adjusted to the fruit.
