AboutDomaine Laroche
Domaine Laroche has been part of Chablis since 1850. At its heart is the Obédiencerie, a former monastery with ninth-century origins that houses the domaine’s ageing cellars and a thirteenth-century press. Since 2009 the domaine and its négociant business have belonged to AdVini; Jean-Baptiste Mouton has led Laroche since 2023.
The Chablis estate works around ninety hectares and received HVE environmental certification in 2016. Among its holdings is roughly one-third of Les Blanchots Grand Cru, a steep vineyard within the appellation.
Domaine Laroche 2024 Chablis Les Chanoines
Pale gold in the glass, with a fresh, lively nose of white fruit and clean mineral notes. The palate is harmonious and bright, shaped by crisp acidity and a clear Chablis profile rather than overt oak. Refreshing through the finish, it is well suited to oysters, sushi, seafood or an aperitif.
Domaine Laroche 1999 Chablis Grand Cru Les Blanchots
Tropical fruit, seasoned oak and ripe, pure fruit define the recorded profile of this 1999 Grand Cru. The palate is concentrated and forward, with firm underlying structure balancing its generosity. Bottle condition will shape how a wine of this age shows; serve slightly cool with lobster, roast poultry or firm cheese.
