AboutDomaine Gayda
Tim Ford and Anthony Record founded Domaine Gayda in 2003 with winemaker Vincent Chansault at Brugairolles, south of Carcassonne. The property’s buildings began life as a coaching inn in 1749.
The team works with vineyard sites across the Languedoc and Roussillon, drawing on contrasting soils and climates. The estate has been certified organic since 2011. A modern cellar allows vineyard lots to be handled separately before blending.
Domaine Gayda Flying Solo 2025 Rosé
French Rosé
Bright pale pink colour with salmon highlights opens into acacia, elderflower, wild berry and grapefruit. The palate begins with lively acidity and immediate freshness, then adds raspberry, fresh grapefruit and a fuller mid-palate. Mouth-watering acidity carries the finish. The blend is equal parts Grenache and Cinsault. Direct pressing precedes fermentation between twelve and sixteen degrees, followed by three months on fine lees.
