AboutDomaine Nicole Lamarche
The Lamarche family’s winegrowing roots at Vosne-Romanée reach back to 1740, while the modern domaine took shape during the opening decades of the 1900s. La Grande Rue entered the family through inheritance in 1933 and was recognized as a grand cru in 1992.
Nicole Lamarche assumed full direction in 2018, and her name replaced Domaine François Lamarche on the labels in 2019. The domaine comprises nearly twenty-eight acres, centred on Vosne-Romanée with holdings elsewhere in the Côte de Nuits. Nicole’s vineyard work follows organic practices.

Black cherry is layered with dried herbs, tea leaf and discreet wood spice. The palate is medium-full and deeply ripe, yet the fruit remains precise and pure, with a dusty, sappy texture and enough freshness to keep the weight in balance. Savoury spice carries through the long finish. Decant carefully and serve with duck, venison, roast lamb or mushrooms.
