AboutDomaine de Rimauresq

Rimauresq lies at Pignans beneath Notre-Dame-des-Anges, where elevation, northwesterly exposure and the Mistral moderate the warmth of inland Provence. Augustin Isnard revived the property in 1882, and it received Cru Classé status in 1955. The Wemyss family bought Rimauresq in 1988 and restructured its vineyards; Pierre Duffort has directed the estate since 2000.

The vineyards include schist and crystalline rock as well as sandy, stony and alluvial ground. Cover crops are grown with the aim of supporting soil life and biodiversity.
