AboutDhondt-Grellet

Champagne Dhondt-Grellet began estate bottling in 1986 in Flavigny, when Éric Dhondt and Édith Grellet brought their families’ vineyard histories into one domaine. Adrien Dhondt took over winemaking in 2012 and now works alongside his sister Alice.

Chardonnay from Cramant, Cuis and Chouilly forms the core, complemented by family parcels farther south in the Coteaux du Sézannais. The family farms according to organic and biodynamic principles, without certification. Barrel fermentation with indigenous yeasts has become increasingly important in the cellar.
