AboutDelamain

The Cognac house Delamain has worked from Jarnac since 1824. Charles Braastad represents the ninth generation and continues the cellar work after longtime master blender Dominique Touteau.

The house selects eaux-de-vie exclusively from Grande Champagne for long maturation in old, seasoned oak casks. It blends these spirits and reduces their strength gradually.

Delamain Vesper XO Grande Champagne Cognac

French Cognac
$253.99
Mature oak, woodland earth and a restrained savoury note frame a quietly aromatic nose. The palate is full and rounded, opening into orchard fruit, quince and wildflowers before vanilla and gentle spice emerge. Extended ageing in old Limousin oak brings polish and depth without obscuring the fruit. A saline mineral lift keeps the texture composed, and the finish is remarkably long, returning to dried fruit, oak and fine spice.

Delamain Pale & Dry XO Cognac

French Cognac
$184.99
Vanilla, apricot and passion fruit rise first, followed by orange zest and a gentle almond note. The palate is finely textured and bright, with ripe fruit balanced by measured oak and warming spice. Ginger gives the middle a clean lift while citrus oil keeps the richness precise. The finish is persistent and composed, carrying candied orange, almond, vanilla and quiet spice.
