Decoy began in 1985 within the Duckhorn family of wines. It became a standalone winery in 2008; the range has grown beyond its original red blend to include Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Ridgeline and Brownell, its Alexander Valley estate vineyards, were acquired in 2012 and 2013 respectively. The winemaking team combines fruit from those sites with grapes from growers across California.

American Red
Black cherry and blackberry lead this generous California Cabernet, followed by blueberry, mocha and sweet baking spice. A little Merlot joins the Cabernet Sauvignon in a supple, rounded blend, with silky tannins framing the dark fruit. French oak adds warmth and gentle spice, carrying through a long and lush finish.
