Darioush and Shahpar Khaledi founded their Napa Valley winery in 1998. Darioush grew up in Iran with the wine culture of Shiraz, while Shahpar brought her eye for design, cooking and hospitality to the estate. Their daughter Sally joined formally in 2021 and works alongside her parents as a second-generation proprietor.
The family owns and farms vineyards in cooler parts of Napa Valley, planted with classic French varieties. All of its vineyards are farmed organically, with regenerative certification on selected properties.

Black cherry and cassis are layered with violets, toasted thyme and bay leaf. The palate is generous and richly textured, with ripe dark fruit, firm Cabernet structure and a polished cocoa-powder feel. Liquorice, espresso, graphite and Tahitian vanilla add depth without masking the fruit. Decant generously and serve with roast beef, lamb, grilled ribeye or slow-braised short ribs.
