AboutChâteau Roquegrave

Château Roquegrave has belonged to the Joannon and Lleu family since 1965. Pierre-Yves Joannon took the lead in 2016. The vineyard covers roughly thirty hectares on the higher ground of Valeyrac in the Médoc, with gravel, sand and clay soils.

Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are the main varieties, with Petit Verdot also planted. The grapes ferment in temperature-controlled concrete tanks, with extended skin contact, before twelve to fifteen months of oak ageing.
