Château Haut-Batailley

The Tour l’Aspic marks Château Haut-Batailley at the entrance to Pauillac. Classified in 1855, the property was later separated from neighbouring Château Batailley. The Cazes family acquired it in 2017, and Jean-Charles Cazes directs the estate.

After studying the soils, the family began replanting nineteen hectares of rested Pauillac land in 2018. Deep Garonne gravel supports a vineyard led by Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Petit Verdot completing the current planting mix.
