AboutChâteau d'Esclans

Sacha Lichine bought Château d’Esclans near La Motte in Provence in 2006, launching Whispering Angel with that first vintage. Technical director Bertrand Léon and cellar master Jean-Claude Neu oversee the winemaking, having joined in 2011 and 2006 respectively.

The portfolio includes wines from the château’s own vineyards and the Caves d’Esclans range, made with grapes selected from the Esclans valley and wider Provence. For Whispering Angel, grapes are harvested at night, sorted and cooled before pressing and fermentation in stainless steel. Selected estate wines are fermented and matured in large oak barrels.

D’Esclans 2025 Whispering Angel Rosé

French Rosé
$51.99
Pale and polished, with perfumed strawberry, raspberry and rose petal at the centre. The palate stays dry and silky, layering red berries with citrus freshness and a restrained touch of spice. Smooth texture gives the wine presence without weight, while the long, clean finish keeps it composed. Serve well chilled with shellfish, salads or light Mediterranean dishes.

Château d’Esclans The Pale 2025 Rosé

French Rosé
$24.99
White fruit and citrus appear in a clean, intense profile. The palate is creamy and round, with citrus bringing structure, balance and precision. Grenache, Rolle, Syrah and Cinsault form the blend. Grapes come from the Var region, are harvested at night, softly pressed and selected. The juices rest on lees in stainless steel before bottling, contributing texture.
