Château d'Armailhac

Deep garnet with a brick-toned rim, opening on blackcurrant, plum and ripe red berries layered with cedar, tobacco leaf, cocoa and spice. The palate is rounded and harmonious, with smooth tannins framing cassis, dark cherry and polished oak. Liquorice and earth carry through a long, warm finish. Serve with roast lamb or beef.
