Château Angélus

Black plum, blackberry and dark cherry rise from a deeply perfumed bouquet, joined by cedar, violet and a touch of bitter orange. The palate is rich yet energetic, with dense, refined tannins framing generous fruit and a fresh, dry core. Long and poised, it suits roast lamb, beef tenderloin or truffle dishes.

Sweet blackberry, black-cherry liqueur and prune open into truffle, Provençal olive and gently smoky oak. The palate is rich and broad, yet soft and supple, with moderate tannins supporting the dark fruit. Savoury depth carries through a warm, composed finish. Decant carefully and serve with roast lamb, beef or mushrooms.
