Champagne Verrier & Fils

Made entirely from Pinot Noir, this Champagne has more vinous weight than a typical aperitif style. Red apple, citrus peel and light toast lead to a dry, gently savoury close.

Refined and finely drawn, with fresh butter, almond, bergamot and thyme opening into candied lemon and orange. The palate is lively and precise, its fine mousse carrying bright citrus, chalky minerality and a subtle saline note. A measured creaminess rounds the edges before a long, pure finish of lemon, iodine and brioche. Serve with oysters, gougères, smoked trout or light hors d'oeuvres.
