AboutChampagne Henri Giraud
Parish records place the Giraud-Hémart family in Aÿ as far back as 1625. The family began making its own Champagne after 1945, and Claude Giraud introduced the Henri Giraud name in the 1970s. It remains family-owned, led by Emmanuelle Giraud-Patour with Sébastien Le Golvet as cellar master.
Pinot Noir from Aÿ Grand Cru and oak from the Argonne forest are central to the house’s approach. The cellar selects oak from different parts of the forest and varies the toast to suit the wine, while also working with stoneware vessels.

French Wine
Golden in the glass, with a fine persistent bead and aromas of ripe apricot, white blossom and toasted brioche. Argonne oak brings measured notes of vanilla, liquorice and fresh walnut without overwhelming the fruit. The palate is velvety and concentrated, sharpened by precise acidity, while candied lemon and white pepper carry the long, spiced finish. Richly textured Champagne with clarity and drive.
Champagne Henri Giraud NV Esprit Nature Brut
French Sparkling
Pear, peach and candied lemon open with vanilla, white pepper and a light savoury note. The palate is generous yet energetic, its ripe orchard fruit lifted by fine bubbles and fresh citrus. A subtle vinous depth builds through the finish, where mineral bitterness brings welcome precision and balance.
