Winemaker Erlank Erasmus founded Cape Wine Company in Paarl in 2010, after a decade making wine at Fairview. Raised in Montagu, he studied viticulture at Elsenburg and gained winemaking experience in Napa Valley and Saint-Émilion. He remains the company’s director and chief winemaker, overseeing a range that includes wines, spirits and alcohol-free drinks for South African and overseas markets.
