AboutCampogiovanni

Campogiovanni lies near Sant’Angelo in Colle on the southern side of Montalcino, where San Felice acquired the estate in the early 1980s. Its three vineyard parcels sit around 300 metres above sea level, within a 65-hectare property of vines, olive groves and woodland. Sangiovese is at the heart of its Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, including the single-vineyard Il Quercione Riserva.

Campogiovanni 2019 Rosso di Montalcino

Italian Red
$36.99
Medium-bodied and dry, with cherry and blackberry joined by cedar, gentle spice and a restrained savoury note. The palate has enough structure to frame the ripe fruit while keeping the texture approachable and balanced. A clean, persistent finish makes it a natural partner for pasta with ragù, roast pork, grilled lamb or aged pecorino.
