Buller Wines

Reginald Langdon Buller established Buller Wines at Rutherglen in 1921 and planted the estate vineyard in the early 1920s. More than half of those original, dry-grown vines still bear fruit. Muscat, Topaque and Tawny are central to the winery’s Rutherglen tradition, alongside a wider range of table and sparkling wines.

For its fortified wines, Buller uses long oak ageing and blends wines of different ages in a modified solera system. The winery also recycles its wastewater for vineyard irrigation, while solar panels supply about three quarters of its energy needs.
