AboutBruna Grimaldi
The Grimaldi family’s winegrowing story begins in 1957, when Giacomo sold grapes; his son Giovanni began making wine in the 1960s and bottling selected vintages. In 1990, Bruna Grimaldi and her husband Franco Fiorino began expanding the family’s vineyards and built a new winery, focusing on wines from their own grapes. Their children Simone and Martina now work alongside them, with Simone in the vineyards and cellar and Martina on the business side.
Across its fifteen hectares in the Barolo area, the family keeps grass between the vines, uses organic fertilizers, avoids chemical weed control and harvests by hand. The red wines are made with slow, gentle extraction from the grape skins, with particularly long skin contact for Barolo.
