Smoky roasted coffee leads a deep, dark aroma, with toffee, cocoa and gentle spice adding breadth. The palate is full-flavoured yet balanced, layering toasted malt sweetness with firm bitterness and a warming Belgian-ale character. A subtle dark-fruit note rounds the middle without softening the structure. The finish is long, roasted and composed. Serve slightly cool with steak, roast rabbit, aged cheddar, brownies, or dark chocolate.
