AboutBrouwerij De Block

Louis De Block, a miller and farmer who married a brewer’s daughter, established his brewery in Peizegem in 1887. The farm and brewery grew together through successive De Block generations, leaving a site of old farm buildings and later brewhouses. The brewery uses locally sourced hops and malt where possible, herbs and its own yeast cultures.

Brouwerij De Block Satan Black 330 mL

Belgian Beer
$5.49
Smoky roasted coffee leads a deep, dark aroma, with toffee, cocoa and gentle spice adding breadth. The palate is full-flavoured yet balanced, layering toasted malt sweetness with firm bitterness and a warming Belgian-ale character. A subtle dark-fruit note rounds the middle without softening the structure. The finish is long, roasted and composed. Serve slightly cool with steak, roast rabbit, aged cheddar, brownies, or dark chocolate.
