AboutBrasserie d'Achouffe
Brasserie d’Achouffe began in the Belgian Ardennes in the late 1970s, when brothers-in-law Pierre Gobron and Chris Bauweraerts started brewing from a family garage in the village of Achouffe. Their first batch, completed on 27 August 1982, amounted to just 49 litres. In 1986 they bought the farm where they had been working, and by 1988 both founders had committed to the brewery full-time.
Demand brought a new brewhouse in 1992 and wider distribution. Brasserie d’Achouffe joined Duvel Moortgat in 2006, expanding its capacity and distribution.

Belgian Beer
Sweet character accompanies the scent of ripe cherries, with strawberry, almond and a touch of spice. The official brewery presents those four details together in its fruit-beer description. The published profile records cherry as the principal scent and includes strawberry, almond and the documented spice note within the same Belgian release and its aromatic profile.
