Bowen Cider House
Bowen Cider House Horseshoe Bay Haskap
Gala apple forms a juicy orchard base, with British Columbia haskap berries adding dark-fruit depth and a gently tangy edge. The palate is semi-sweet and full-flavoured, yet the berry freshness keeps it balanced. No added sugar leaves the fruit clear through the finish. Serve chilled with roast pork, grilled sausages, blue cheese or berry-glazed poultry.
Bowen Cider House Granny Cowan
Crisp, clear and dry, this cider blends seventy percent Granny Smith with thirty percent dessert and cider apples. The profile is tart and dry, presenting the distinctive flavour of Granny Smith alongside the blend’s recorded crispness and clarity. Made by a family cidery on Bowen Island, it is a direct apple-led expression with acidity, dryness and clarity recorded by the producer.
Bowen Cider House Snug Cove Strubarb
Strawberries and rhubarb are infused into a blend of dessert apples from the Okanagan and cider apples grown in the producer’s own orchards. The strawberries accentuate the small amount of sugar in the cider, making it taste sweeter than it is. Semi-dry in style, it brings fruit and orchard ingredients together in a locally made cider.
