Strawberries and rhubarb are infused into a blend of dessert apples from the Okanagan and cider apples grown in the producer’s own orchards. The strawberries accentuate the small amount of sugar in the cider, making it taste sweeter than it is. Semi-dry in style, it brings fruit and orchard ingredients together in a locally made cider.

About Bowen Cider House
Bowen Cider House is the Johnstone family’s cidery at Meadowbrook Farm on Bowen Island, British Columbia. Three generations have helped establish an orchard of more than 700 apple trees, with over 55 heritage varieties.
The team hand-picks heritage apples and makes ciders ranging from very dry to sweet and fruit-led styles, alongside small batches aged in wine or whisky casks. A tasting lounge, patio and picnic grounds welcome visitors to the farm.
