Bouchard Père & Fils 2021 Bourgogne Chardonnay
Pale gold colour appears with peach, pear and creamy fruit character. Chardonnay comes from clay-limestone sites across Burgundy. Ageing lasts eight months, predominantly in stainless steel with a small portion in French oak barrels. Alcohol is 12.5 percent, residual sugar is 2.2 grams per litre and total acidity is 3.73 grams per litre. Its pH is 3.35.
Bouchard Père & Fils 2022 Bourgogne Aligoté
Lemon, green apple and white flowers define the aromatic profile. The palate is straightforward and airy, with lively acidity and a fresh finish. Aligoté receives gentle pressing and gravity handling; fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks. The fruit comes from plots farmed under strict environmental standards, with herbicides excluded and biodiversity supported through hedgerows and grassy strips. The finished wine contains thirteen percent alcohol.
Bouchard Père & Fils 2019 Pommard
Cherry, strawberry, floral and spice notes appear in a refined structure. The wine is linear and balanced, with a lingering red-fruit aftertaste. Small black fruits and an animal note are also present. The profile is firm and solid. Pinot Noir comes from Pommard in the Côte de Beaune. Calcareous and clay soils are coloured red by iron oxides.
