Bodegas Murviedro

Murviedro began in Spain in 1927 as part of the Schenk group, with sites in Alicante, Utiel and Requena. The company moved its headquarters to Requena in 1997 and adopted the Bodegas Murviedro name in 2002, a reference to the city’s ancient walls.

Bobal, Monastrell and old vineyards are important to its work across Valencia, Alicante and Utiel-Requena. In 2017, Murviedro opened a restored historic cellar in the underground caves of Requena’s old quarter.
