AboutBodegas Luzón
Bodegas Luzón traces its name to 1841, when José de Molina returned to Jumilla after years on the Philippine island of Luzon and named his property Finca Luzón. On his death in 1863, the land passed to his eldest daughter, Ana Josefa, beginning a line of female inheritance that continued until the estate was sold in 1980. The Fuertes family acquired the winery in 2005 and invested in its infrastructure.
The house works several vineyard estates across Jumilla, with Monastrell at the centre and other varieties used to broaden the range. Its vineyards have calcareous, sandy soils and a dry climate, and its wines include an organic range.

Spanish Red
Fresh bramble and red cherry lead, accented by a light touch of green spice. The palate is juicy and fruit-driven, with soft-grained tannins giving the ripe fruit enough shape without adding weight. Direct, supple and easy to follow, it closes on clean red-fruit flavour with a subtle savoury edge. Serve with grilled sausages, lamb skewers or smoky vegetable dishes.
