Bodega Tierra del Huarpe was formed in 2001 by eight vineyard owners in San Juan, Argentina. Their vineyards lie across the Valle del Tulúm, where a dry, sunny climate and irrigation from Andean snowmelt shape the growing conditions.
The winery makes the 7 Viñas range from selected vineyard fruit, with a brief period in wood.
7 Vinas 2024 Cabernet Sauvignon
Argentinian Red
A structured Cabernet Sauvignon with blackberry and cassis, framed by tobacco, leather and a measured oak note. The palate is dark-fruited and composed, with enough depth for grilled red meat, hearty pasta or aged cheese. Firm but approachable through the finish, it also works well on its own after a little time in the glass.
7 Vinas Tierra Del Huarpe 2024 Malbec
Argentinian Red
A supple Malbec with blackberry, blueberry and dark plum, followed by vanilla and gentle baking spice. The palate is medium-bodied and velvety, with ripe tannins and well-judged acidity keeping the fruit balanced. Smooth and persistent on the finish, it is an easy fit with grilled beef, empanadas, roasted vegetables or a firm, savoury cheese.
