Bench 1775 2019 Chill White Blend
Canadian White
Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Riesling form an off-dry white blend drawn entirely from Naramata vineyards. Bright tropical-fruit aromas meet fresh citrus and a light sweetness. The vines grow in silty-loam soils and were fifteen to eighteen years old at harvest. The wine carries 13.1 percent alcohol and pairs readily with fresh British Columbia produce, seafood, dim sum, ramen, spicy curry or barbecue chicken.
Bench 1775 2022 Viognier
Canadian White
Ripe peach, apricot skin, mango and honeysuckle shape the aromatics. Stone fruit, a hint of honey and vibrant acidity meet a full mouthfeel, with a bright, lingering finish. The Viognier comes entirely from Naramata Bench fruit. Grapes are harvested by hand, pressed and cold-fermented with the skins handled separately, then the lots are blended before bottling.
Bench 1775 2017 Pinot Gris Icewine
Canadian Dessert
Concentrated pear, ripe apple and quince lead, with a clear honeyed sweetness held in check by fresh acidity. The palate is rich but not heavy, layering orchard fruit with a gently rounded texture. A precise, balanced finish keeps the sweetness composed, leaving pear, quince and a clean line of brightness to linger.
