AboutBeaumont Family Estate Winery

Alex and Louise Lubchynski bought a run-down cherry orchard in West Kelowna in 1994 and planted their first twelve acres of vines the following year. Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Gamay and Pinot Noir were among the early plantings. Estate winemaking began in 2007, with their daughter Alana later becoming the winemaker.

The family now farms thirty-six acres near the foot of Mount Boucherie, on land containing fragments of volcanic rhyolite and andesite. Organic farming has been part of the vineyards from their first planting.

Beaumont 2013 Pinot Noir Icewine

Canadian Dessert
$44.99

Lush without losing shape, with ripe strawberry, raspberry and black cherry layered alongside apricot, orange marmalade and honey. The palate is rich and concentrated, while a bright line of acidity keeps the sweetness poised. Hints of caramel, hazelnut and honeysuckle deepen the finish. Serve lightly chilled with berry desserts, soft cheese or dark chocolate truffles.
