Basil Hayden

Extended maturation gives this high-rye bourbon a firm oak frame, layered with char, vanilla and caramel sweetness. The palate remains poised rather than heavy, with rye spice lifting the richer barrel tones and keeping the texture lively. Toasted wood and a lightly smoky note develop through the middle, followed by a measured return of vanilla and caramel. The finish is long, warming and gently spiced, balancing mature oak with the brighter character of the rye-led recipe.
